Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia’s state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura (InJourney Airports) is including 53 flight routes to strengthen nationwide air connectivity and assist progress within the transportation and tourism sectors.

“From January to April 2026, 53 new flight routes can be operated at numerous airports—consisting of latest routes and new flight providers,” InJourney Airports president director Mohammad R. Pahlevi mentioned in his assertion on Saturday.

Throughout that interval, the variety of flight routes rose15 % in comparison with the identical interval the earlier 12 months, when 46 routes have been added.

To deal with these challenges, the operator is strengthening collaboration with airways, regulators, and airport operators to broaden routes and improve competitors.

As a part of regional growth, InJourney Airports participated in Routes Asia, holding strategic conferences with 28 airways and 16 airports.

Current additions embody T’approach Air’s new service from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Incheon, South Korea, launched on April 29, 2026. Scoot will open routes from Belitung’s HAS Hanandjoeddin Airport to Singapore’s Changi Airport in Might, and from Pontianak’s Supadio Airport to Changi in June.

Spring Airways is scheduled to start flights from Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China, to Soekarno-Hatta in June.

Upcoming routes embody Centrum Air flights from Tehran, Uzbekistan, to Bali, and Larger Bay Airways’ inaugural service from Hong Kong to Surabaya’s Juanda Worldwide Airport.

“By way of worldwide routes, our goal inside two years is to extend flight frequency on current providers and open new ones. This can lay the muse for direct long-haul connectivity from Indonesian airports,” Pahlevi mentioned.
