DENPASAR, Bali – A 24-year-old Italian nationwide, recognized as GI, has been deported from Indonesia following an altercation with site visitors police in Denpasar that stemmed from a helmet violation and escalated right into a bodily confrontation.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at round 1:00 p.m. native time on Jalan Gunung Agung, North Denpasar. GI was stopped by officers for using a motorbike with out sporting a helmet alongside his associate.

Authorities confirmed that GI admitted to his actions and was present in violation of Article 75(1) of Indonesia’s Immigration Legislation.

He was deported on April 28, 2026, through I Gusti Ngurah Rai Worldwide Airport on a Qatar Airways flight certain for Doha. He has additionally been proposed for inclusion on Indonesia’s blacklist.

Felucia Sengky Ratna, head of the Bali regional immigration workplace, emphasised that there isn’t any tolerance for authorized violations.
