Seylan Financial institution lately recognised workers who achieved notable success at national-level mercantile sports activities competitions, reaffirming the Financial institution’s dedication to holistic worker growth, teamwork, and well-being past the office.

The popularity, led by the Financial institution’s Director/ Chief Govt Officer, Ramesh Jayasekara, celebrated workers and groups who delivered commendable performances on the 2025 Mercantile Tournaments, securing championship honours and particular person accolades in swimming and basketball. 

The Seylan Swimming Group delivered an distinctive efficiency on the 16th President’s Problem Trophy – Mercantile Swimming Championship 2025, successful 5 gold medals and one silver medal. Dilini Kumarasinghe claimed three gold medals whereas Thamadi Mewanya secured two gold medals and one silver, highlighting the crew’s expertise, dedication, and aggressive spirit.

Moreover, the Seylan Basketball Group clinched the Championship title on the 33rd Mercantile Providers Basketball Affiliation League 2025 (Division A) as consecutive champions, with Epciba Washington Clay named Most Useful Participant, constructing on a legacy of top-tier performances and standout gamers from earlier seasons.
