
NEWTON COUNTY — The Newton County Sheriff’s Workplace (NCSO) is investigating who’s answerable for a hidden stash of methamphetamine value “$15,000 to $20,000” at an area auto components retailer.
Deputies responded to McDonough Used Auto Elements off of Freeway 162 on Tuesday, Might 5, at round 4:30 p.m. It was found that a considerable amount of meth was hidden in a “junk automobile.”
“The preliminary investigation revealed about $15,000 to $20,000 value of methamphetamine hidden inside two doorways of a junk automobile positioned on the property,” an NCSO information launch acknowledged.
