Beijing – A gasoline explosion at a coal mine in northern China has killed at the least 90 individuals, state media reported Saturday, the nation’s greatest mining catastrophe in 17 years.
A complete of 247 employees had been underground on the time of the blast, which occurred at 7:29 p.m. Friday on the Liushenyu coal mine in Shanxi province, based on the official Xinhua Information Company.
