MUSCAT — The ministry stated the deliberate metropolis will span a complete space of 6.5 sq. kilometres and can characteristic built-in residential neighbourhoods, business locations, cultural and group amenities, in addition to public areas geared toward enhancing high quality of life.
Based on particulars launched by the ministry, the challenge will embrace essential parks, pedestrian-friendly areas and leisure amenities meant to assist trendy city residing near Sultan Qaboos Port in Sohar.
The event is a part of Oman’s broader efforts to broaden sustainable city planning initiatives and create built-in cities aligned with Oman Imaginative and prescient 2040 targets.
The ministry added that consultancy tenders for the detailed masterplan and engineering designs of the challenge have already been floated.
