MANILA, Philippines — Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano mentioned on Friday that the Senate blue ribbon committee will proceed its hearings on the flood management scandal on Thursday, June 4.

“Senator [Rodante] Marcoleta will situation the notices on Monday to proceed on Thursday the flood management rip-off hearings,” Cayetano mentioned in a Fb livestream.

On Friday, the Sandiganbayan issued a warrant of arrest towards Estrada and former Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonoan in step with their graft case filed by the Workplace of the Ombudsman.

The Workplace of the Ombudsman filed the case, together with one other for plunder, on the advice of the Division of Justice for alleged corruption in flood management initiatives.

Estrada has denied the allegations and already posted bail of P90,000 for his graft case.
