BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will likely be compelled to just accept any settlement
that may be reached between Washington and Tehran, US President
Donald Trump mentioned in an interview with British media, Development
reviews.
“He will not have a selection. I make the selections. I make all of the
selections, not him,” Trump mentioned.
In the meantime, as no tangible progress was made within the nuclear
negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, the state of affairs escalated on
February 28, when the US and Israel launched navy
airstrikes in opposition to Iran. In retaliation, Iran initiated missile and
drone strikes concentrating on Israeli and U.S. installations within the
area. Following these developments, a two-week ceasefire
settlement was brokered on April 7 via Pakistan’s mediation.
Nevertheless, throughout subsequent talks between the U.S. and Iran in
Islamabad on April 11, no consensus was reached.
