Safety forces neutralised 14 India-backed terrorists throughout an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Basima district, the Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) mentioned on Tuesday.

The IBO was carried out by the safety forces within the Naal space of Basima district on June 8, 2026, after receiving studies in regards to the presence of militants belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al-Hindustan, the navy’s media wing mentioned.

The terrorists have been reportedly planning to assault a close-by police station and banks within the space.

On receipt of the knowledge, swift motion was undertaken by safety forces and an IBO was launched to thwart the nefarious designs of the terrorists, the ISPR mentioned.

In the course of the conduct of the operation, the navy’s media wing mentioned the motion of terrorists was successfully checked and engaged by the navy punitively. After an intense fireplace alternate, fourteen Indian sponsored terrorists have been killed, whereas a number of terrorists have been injured.

The ISPR mentioned that sanitisation operations have been underway within the space to clear any remaining militants and guarantee safety.

The assertion added that counterterrorism operations beneath the nationwide safety framework “Azm-e-Istehkam” would proceed at full tempo to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the nation.
