MUSCAT : India’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Prashant Pise, has formally assumed cost and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the Embassy of India in Muscat, marking the start of his diplomatic tenure within the nation.
In an announcement shared by the Embassy of India in Muscat, Ambassador Pise honoured the Father of the Nation on the embassy premises shortly after taking cost as India’s prime envoy to Oman.
The embassy mentioned the tribute mirrored the enduring values related to Mahatma Gandhi, describing him as a timeless image of fact, non-violence and ethical braveness.
Pise succeeds Ambassador G.V. Srinivas and takes over at a time when India and Oman proceed to strengthen their longstanding strategic partnership throughout commerce, funding, defence cooperation, tradition and people-to-people ties.
