DENPASAR, Bali – Police in Bali have foiled an unlawful wildlife trafficking operation involving 21 protected inexperienced sea turtles, arresting a suspect believed to be a part of a community supplying the endangered animals for resale.

The turtles have been rescued throughout a raid on Pegametan Seaside in northern Bali on June 10 after residents alerted authorities to suspected unlawful buying and selling exercise within the space.
