Aleppo, June 25 (SANA) Aleppo Worldwide Airport obtained the primary Jazeera Airways flight from Kuwait Worldwide Airport on Thursday, marking the launch of a daily direct route between Kuwait and Aleppo.
The flight carried 120 passengers, in response to Syrian aviation officers.
Mustafa Khairallah, head of the Media Division on the Syrian Civil Aviation and Air Transport Authority, informed SANA the brand new route is a part of efforts to develop air connectivity to and from Aleppo and appeal to extra regional and worldwide airways.
Walid al-Ahmad, director of public relations at Aleppo Worldwide Airport, stated Jazeera Airways will initially function two flights every week to Aleppo, with service anticipated to extend to 3 weekly flights beginning July 21 as demand grows.
Fidaa Khalil, Jazeera Airways’ normal gross sales agent in Syria, stated the airline plans so as to add Deir Ezzor to its Syrian community on July 25, alongside its current providers to Damascus and Aleppo.
The route comes as Syria’s Transport Ministry works to develop air hyperlinks by partnerships with regional airways and enhance connectivity for passengers and commerce.
