Earthquake tremors have been felt within the Balochistan districts of Sibi and Kohlu, triggering panic amongst native residents.
In accordance with the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 4.2 magnitude in Sibi and 5.0 magnitude in Kohlu. The depth of the quake was recorded at 42 kilometres in Sibi and 18 kilometres in Kohlu.
The Seismological Centre mentioned the epicentre of the Sibi earthquake was positioned 57 kilometres northeast of town, whereas the epicentre of the Kohlu earthquake was located 65 kilometres northeast of town.
In accordance with preliminary experiences, no casualties or injury to property have been reported thus far. Nevertheless, the related authorities are carefully monitoring the scenario.
