Penned by Sholem Aleichem and printed by Warsaw’s Yiddish newspapers within the early 1900s, the collected chapters depict Leibel, who takes on the stage title Leo Rafalesco and turns into an actor, and Raizel, who follows the same path to the opera, calling herself Rosa Spivak. Their tales have been an instantaneous hit amongst readers.

Printed in 1911 and tailored to the stage by Richard Nelson for this manufacturing, this much-beloved story is directed by Yotam Gotal.
