LEGIAN, Bali – An Australian lady was referred for medical evaluation after inflicting a disturbance at a resort in Bali’s Legian space early Wednesday, prompting a joint response from police and public order officers.

The 55-year-old lady, recognized by her initials ALB, was reported shouting and pacing across the foyer of Casa Dasa Legian Lodge on Jalan Nakula, disturbing different company staying on the property.

Police responded after receiving a report by way of Indonesia’s emergency Name Middle 110 at round 4:35 a.m., in response to Denpasar Police spokesperson Iptu I Gede Adi Saputra Jaya. Officers from Kuta Police, assisted by native public order officers (Satpol PP), have been dispatched to the scene.

Lodge workers instructed responding officers that the Australian lady had been repeatedly strolling across the foyer whereas shouting incoherently, inflicting concern amongst company and staff.

Authorities stated the state of affairs was introduced below management after officers arrived, and no accidents have been reported.

Based on I Wayan Suantara, commander of the Kuta public order job drive (Satpol PP BKO Kuta), the lady was later referred to Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Basic Hospital for additional medical evaluation after officers noticed behaviour they believed required analysis.

“Following our customary working procedures, we referred her to Prof. Ngoerah Hospital for examination by psychological well being specialists,” Suantara stated.

He added that the hospital would coordinate with immigration authorities if additional administrative motion was required following the medical evaluation.

As of Thursday, the Australian lady remained below medical remark whereas authorities awaited the outcomes of the analysis.
