Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani held a Khuli Kachehri (public listening to) on the District Council Corridor in Jhelum on Saturday, listening to public grievances and taking steps to handle them.

Senior officers from the district administration, police and different authorities departments additionally attended the session. The general public listening to continued for greater than three hours, throughout which Kayani heard complaints from over 400 residents.

Addressing contributors, Kayani mentioned he would maintain public hearings each month, including that related classes would even be organised in Dina and Sohawa tehsils to listen to residents’ considerations immediately and strengthen coordination between the general public and authorities establishments.

The minister mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz have been utilising all out there sources to serve the general public.

The state minister added that Jhelum was witnessing file improvement work whereas the mechanism for addressing public complaints was additionally being made more practical and responsive.
