Safety forces eradicated three extra terrorists belonging to India’s proxy Fitna al-Khawarij throughout the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, safety sources mentioned on Sunday.

The sources informed Geo Information that the full variety of terrorists killed has risen to 67 within the present operation, whereas total, 105 have been gunned down since June 5.

The operation was launched within the aftermath of the assault on the Mangi Dam police station in Ziarat and is being carried out collectively by the Pakistan Military, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police, the sources had mentioned earlier.

Whereas safety forces inflicted heavy losses on terrorists in ongoing operations, 42 individuals, together with safety personnel and civilians, have been martyred in three latest terrorist assaults in Balochistan.

The operation in Balochistan will proceed till the final militant is eradicated, the safety sources had mentioned.

Talking on the terrorist assault in Ziarat, Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) Director Normal Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry had on Wednesday mentioned that India-backed terrorists attacked the checkpoint, however police personnel fought the terrorists bravely and killed 15 militants throughout the preliminary engagement.

The navy spokesperson mentioned 9 police personnel embraced martyrdom within the preliminary preventing, including that militants had taken police personnel hostage earlier than safety forces reached the realm.

Pakistan witnessed a surge in terror actions, significantly in its KP and Balochistan provinces, since 2021, when the Afghan Taliban got here into energy.
