The newly appointed Vatican Ambassador to Israel, Archbishop Giorgio Lingua, visited the Israel Museum’s Archaeology Division this week along with senior members of the Vatican delegation.
Lingua was accompanied by Msgr. Nicola Di Ponzio, deputy head of mission; cultural attache Fr. David Steffy; and different members of the Vatican mission.
In the course of the go to, the delegation toured the exhibition “A Voice from the Desert – The Nice Isaiah Scroll,” which shows among the most traditionally vital archaeological artifacts linked to the interval of early Christianity, together with uncommon proof associated to crucifixion throughout the time of Jesus.
