DOHA: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Mentioned, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, accompanied by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Mentioned, Deputy Prime Minister for Financial Affairs, provided condolences and sympathies to Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, on the demise of Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani.
HH Sayyid Shihab conveyed the condolences and sympathies of His Majesty the Sultan to Shaikh Tamim, Al Thani household and the brotherly Qatari folks on this profound loss, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant the late Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani mercy and forgiveness, and to relaxation his soul in peace in paradise.
Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for his honest condolences and sympathies, praying to Allah the Almighty to guard His Majesty, grant him a protracted life, and bestow upon him good well being and effectively‑being.
HH Sayyid Shihab was accompanied by an official delegation comprising HH Sayyid Dr Kamil bin Fahd al Mentioned, Secretary-Basic of the Basic Secretariat of the Council of Ministers; HH Sayyid Loay bin Ghaleb al Mentioned, Secretary‑Basic of the Diwan of Royal Court docket; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Overseas Minister; Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Data; Sayyid Ibrahim bin Mentioned al Busaidy, Minister of Heritage and Tourism; and Sayyid Ammar bin Abdullah al Busaidy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar.
Upon arrival on the Amiri Corridor at Hamad Worldwide Airport, HH Sayyid Shihab and the accompanying delegation had been acquired by Shaikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, together with quite a lot of senior Qatari officers.
