A hearth broke out at a Japanika department in Netanya after a stolen piece of army ordnance was thrown on the restaurant, the Police spokesperson stated in a press release on Tuesday morning.
A preliminary investigation by the Israel Police means that the incident is legal in nature, “stemming from an ongoing dispute between criminals,” the police assertion added.
Officers from the Netanya station are working on the scene alongside hearth and rescue groups.
No accidents have been reported. Nevertheless, property injury was sustained by the fireplace that broke out after the explosion.
Cops have launched an investigation into the incident.
Additionally on Monday, an explosion was heard in Herzliya after a suspicious object was thrown at a constructing, in line with a press release by the Israel Police spokesperson.
Police had been dispatched to an intersection in central Herzliya after the incident. There have been no accidents however minor property injury has been reported.
The incident is suspected to be legal in nature.
