Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has held intensive discussions with senior jail officers on pressing measures to handle challenges in Sri Lanka’s jail system and stop incidents just like the latest unrest at Negombo Jail.
The assembly was held this afternoon (July 17) on the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, with the participation of Superintendents of Prisons, Jailers and different officers of the Division of Prisons.
