ISLAMABAD: The Nationwide Cyber Crime Investigation Company (NCCIA) on Saturday issued a discover summoning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister, Noreen Niazi, over controversial remarks towards state establishments.

The discover said that Noreen had been discovered disseminating false, offensive and inflammatory content material on social media aimed toward defaming state establishments and selling pretend narratives.

It directed her to look earlier than the NCCIA’s Cyber Crime Reporting Centre in Islamabad at 12pm on July 20.

It additional warned that non-compliance with the discover is punishable underneath Part 174 of the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860.

The summons got here a day after a controversial assertion by Noreen relating to Marka-e-Haq and the Pakistan Military surfaced on social media.
