MUZAFFARABAD: The Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, introduced on Tuesday that elections within the area could be held in three phases.

In line with the election commissioner, Mirpur Division will vote first on July 27, Muzaffarabad Division on August 2 and Poonch Division on August 10.

The announcement marked a revision to the sooner single-day election schedule.
