[This review contains spoilers for season one of “Vivant.”]
“Vivant” tells the story of bumbling businessman Yusuke Nogi (Masato Sakai), who will get wrapped up in a world espionage plot.
This inept salaryman seems to be a king amongst spies and a member of Bepan, a company tasked with defending Japan from terrorist threats, particularly these perpetrated by an enigmatic group referred to as Tent, led by Nogon Beki (Koji Yakusho) and primarily based within the fictional Republic of Balka.
