SAO PAULO, July 29 (Yonhap) — President Lee Jae Myung departed Brazil on Wednesday after holding a summit with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, heading to Chile for summit talks with the nation’s president.
After wrapping up his state go to to Brazil, Lee is now en path to Santiago, the place he’ll maintain summit talks with Chilean President Jose Antonio Kast on Thursday on methods to boost bilateral ties.
The Lee-Lula summit, held Monday, marked their second official summit this 12 months following their February assembly in Seoul.
The leaders reaffirmed their international locations’ curiosity in pursuing nearer bilateral cooperation in important minerals, together with uncommon earths, and provide chains.
Lee is at the moment on a three-nation South America tour that may also take him to Argentina for a summit with President Javier Milei on Friday.
