The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Get together (PPP) continued to commerce barbs over the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections on Wednesday, with each events accusing one another of electoral rigging.

In keeping with the outcomes, the PML-N gained 9 seats whereas the PPP secured 4 of the 13 seats of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Meeting elections within the Mirpur division.

The PPP had criticised PML-N and the conduct of the AJK elections, saying that the state should determine whether or not nationwide curiosity or the PML-N curiosity was extra necessary.

Taking to X, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz rejected allegations of electoral rigging levelled in opposition to her social gathering, saying the claims had been ironic coming from the PPP.
