Greater than 200 Houthi fighters have been killed inside 48 hours in clashes and drone strikes focused on the Taiz and Marib fronts in southwestern Yemen, prompting the group to deploy reinforcements because it seeks further fighters, army and medical sources mentioned. 

The deaths represented a number of the Houthis’ heaviest losses in the course of the current escalation, in keeping with the sources. Most of these killed have been members of the group’s al-Samad Brigade.
