Safety forces and police killed 49 terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan in a sequence of “high-tempo joint intelligence-driven operations” performed in the previous few days, the army’s media wing mentioned on Friday.

In an announcement, the Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) mentioned that in KP, the army’s media wing mentioned that 12 India-backed militants have been killed throughout a number of intelligence-based operations in Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber districts.

It mentioned that safety forces recovered and destroyed a big amount of explosives, IED detonating remotes, weapons, ammunition and bikes in the course of the operations.

In Balochistan, the ISPR mentioned 37 militants belonging to India-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan have been neutralised in 10 intelligence-based operations carried out in Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar and Panjgur districts.

The army’s media wing mentioned that safety forces additionally seized and destroyed a major amount of weapons, explosive drums and distant detonation gear.

The event follows separate IBOs in Balochistan’s Ziarat, Harnai and Surab districts below Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3 earlier this week that resulted within the killing of no less than 9 terrorists.
