
The federal authorities has appointed Imran Sarwar as president and chief government officer (CEO) of the Nationwide Financial institution of Pakistan (NBP) for a three-year time period.
In line with a notification issued by the Finance Division on Thursday, the appointment has been made in train of powers conferred underneath Part 11(3)(a) of the Banks (Nationalization) Act, 1974.
The notification acknowledged that Imran Sarwar would function president and CEO of the Nationwide Financial institution of Pakistan for a interval of three years.
