Electrical, hybrid and hydrogen-powered autos have been exempted from exhaust emissions testing within the TRNC following an modification to the Motor Car Exhaust Emissions Management Regulation.
The change, printed within the Official Gazette, expands the classes of autos that aren’t required to endure exhaust emissions inspections.
Below the modification to Article 4 of the regulation, absolutely electrical autos, hybrid autos and hydrogen-powered autos have now been formally added to the record of exemptions.
The modification was ready by the Council of Ministers underneath Article 31 of the Environmental Legislation and got here into power following its publication within the Official Gazette.
