BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. One other group
of former internally displaced individuals is returning to Khankendi,
Khojaly, Aghdere and Jabrayil.
On September 22, households who had been briefly residing in
numerous elements of the nation, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums
and administrative buildings, returned to town of Khankendi;
the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi; the villages of Tezebina,
Khanyurdu, Khanabad and Ballyja within the Khojaly district; the
villages of Vangli, Chapar and Ashaghi Oratag within the Aghdere
district; and the village of Shukurbeyli within the Jabrayil
district.
At this stage, 3 households, or 13 folks, had been relocated to the
metropolis of Khankendi; 5 households, or 22 folks, to the Karkijahan
settlement of Khankendi; 7 households, or 31 folks, to the village
of Tezebina within the Khojaly district; 5 households, or 22 folks, to
Khanyurdu; 2 households, or 10 folks, to Khanabad; 1 household, or 4
folks, to Ballyja; 4 households, or 14 folks, to Vangli within the
Aghdere district; 4 households, or 11 folks, to Chapar; 4 households,
or 9 folks, to Ashaghi Oratag; and 24 households, or 148 folks, to
Shukurbeyli within the Jabrayil district.
Residents returning to their native lands expressed their
gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President
Mehriban Aliyeva for the great care and assist offered by
the state.
Additionally they expressed their gratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani
Military, which liberated the lands from occupation, in addition to to the
heroic troopers and officers.
