BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. On the
sidelines of UNGA81, Azerbaijani International Minister Jeyhun Bayramov
met with Ito Bisonó, Minister of International Affairs of the Dominican
Republic, Azerbaijan’s International Ministry wrote on its web page on X.
The Ministers mentioned prospects for creating
Azerbaijani–Dominican Republic relations and emphasised the
significance of institutionalizing political dialogue between the 2
International Ministries.
The perimeters additionally exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral
problems with mutual curiosity, highlighting prospects for advancing
coordination inside worldwide organizations.
Following the assembly, the Ministers signed the “Settlement
between the Authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the
Authorities of the Dominican Republic on mutual exemption of the
visa requirement for holders of bizarre passports.”
Moreover, the edges signed the “Memorandum of Understanding
between the Ministry of International Affairs of the Republic of
Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Exterior Relations of the Dominican
Republic on the institution of a mechanism for political
consultations.”
These new agreements will considerably contribute to the
enlargement of our institutional framework and foster nearer
bilateral ties.
