Mauritius authorities refused to grant touchdown approval to an Air Seychelles plane scheduled to reach from Israel on Saturday, resulting in the cancellation of the flight, tourism firm Spirit World Productions stated on Saturday.
In response to the corporate, regardless of efforts made all through the night time, the Mauritian authorities maintained their refusal.
The corporate stated the choice was apparently pushed by political concerns.
Following the dearth of approval, Air Seychelles was pressured to announce the cancellation of the flight to Mauritius.
“We’re saddened and dissatisfied by the choice to not approve the touchdown of the flight from Israel in Mauritius.
We’re particularly sorry that such a choice was made as a consequence of political concerns, instantly harming Israeli passengers who haven’t any connection to those choices,” stated Tali Yativ, CEO and proprietor of Spirit World Productions.
Yativ added, “We did all the pieces in our energy till the final second to make sure that the flight would depart as scheduled, and we proceed to work with all related events to help the passengers and deal with their instances personally, and with Air Seychelles to obtain all the required info for continued help.”
