CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — 4 folks, together with a pregnant girl, had been rescued after their motorized boat ran aground close to Somaco Island within the Palawan city of Cuilon on Wednesday (Oct. 15), the Philippine Coast Guard stated. The Coast Guard Sub-Station in Culion, coordinated with the Municipal Catastrophe Danger Discount and Administration Workplace (MDRRMO) and deployed first responders to help the vessel, MBCA Kulot, and switch its passengers to an MDRRMO rescue boat.
