Bhatia highlighted India’s progress in pursuing a low-carbon growth path below Prime Minister Modi’s management, noting that the nation has achieved a number of of its local weather targets nicely forward of schedule.

“Between 2005 and 2020, we diminished the emission depth of GDP by 36 per cent, and this development continues. Non-fossil energy put in capability now accounts for over 50% of our whole put in capability, enabling us to achieve our revised NDC goal 5 years forward of schedule,” he mentioned.
