Safety forces killed not less than 23 terrorists linked to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Providers Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Tuesday.

In keeping with a press launch issued by the army’s media wing, the safety forces performed separate operations on November 16 and 17 on the reported presence of terrorists in Bajaur and Bannu districts.

Through the operation in Bajaur, the ISPR stated, safety forces “successfully engaged the khwarij location, resultantly 11 khwarij, together with ring chief Sajjad aka Abuzar, have been despatched to hell.”

“In one other operation performed in Bannu, personal troops efficiently neutralised 12 extra khwarij,” it added.

Moreover, the ISPR stated sanitisation operations have been being performed to eradicate every other Indian sponsored terrorists discovered within the space.

“Counter-terrorism marketing campaign below imaginative and prescient ‘Azm e Istehkam’ by safety forces and regulation enforcement companies will proceed at full tempo to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the nation,” it added.

Individually, the army’s media wing stated {that a} militant linked to “Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij” was killed whereas making an attempt to plant an improvised explosive gadget (IED) in Bannu throughout the early hours of November 18.

The incident, ISPR stated, underscored the “rising desperation” of the group as sustained stress from safety forces and regulation enforcement companies has pushed militants in direction of “cowardly makes an attempt in opposition to gentle targets”.

Earlier within the day, safety forces killed not less than 15 terrorists, together with a ringleader affiliated with Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij, in two separate IBOs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The army’s media wing, in a press release, stated that the operations happened between November 8 and 9 in opposition to the India-backed terrorists.

The operations comply with a suicide blast at Islamabad’s Judicial Complicated on November 11 that left 12 individuals martyred and not less than 36 wounded, together with attorneys and petitioners.

The federal authorities had arrested 4 members of a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan/Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP/FAK) cell linked to the suicide assault on the Islamabad District Judicial Complicated, G-11.

Pakistan has confronted elevated cross-border terrorist incidents for the reason that Taliban regime returned to energy in Afghanistan in 2021.

KP and Balochistan, the 2 bordering provinces, have borne the brunt of those assaults.

KP alone recorded over 600 terror incidents, by which not less than 79 police personnel have been martyred alongside 138 civilians, throughout the first eight months of 2025, in response to a police report.

Pakistan has persistently urged the Afghan Taliban to abide by the Doha settlement in 2020, by which they dedicated to not permitting their soil for use in opposition to any nation.
