Sri Lankan authorities have issued an pressing warning as water ranges within the Kelani River proceed to rise quickly.
Officers say that if the present state of affairs continues, Colombo may face extreme flooding by tomorrow night time (November 29), and even inside the coming hours.

The affected roads are:
- Close to the Lionel Wendt Theatre on Premasiri Khemadasa Mawatha and on Keppetipola Mawatha
- Close to the fourth gate of the Nationwide Hospital
- Elvitigala Mawatha
- Rajina Street Junction
- Armour Barber Junction in Kotahena, close to the temple
Authorities proceed to observe the state of affairs and urge the general public to remain alert and act responsibly.
