MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, convened an official session of talks at Al Barakah Palace on Thursday. The high-level discussions centered on reviewing the intensive framework of bilateral cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. The talks explored strategic avenues to develop this partnership and unlock new funding frontiers, with specific emphasis on the sectors of vitality, expertise, logistics, meals safety, manufacturing and agricultural manufacturing. Enhancing cultural and academic exchanges was additionally affirmed as a key precedence. This collaborative method is designed to advance the mutual strategic pursuits and long-term aspirations of each international locations. The assembly additionally featured a substantive alternate of views on essentially the most urgent regional and worldwide developments. The official session of talks was attended from the Omani facet by Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Workplace; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Overseas Minister; Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamed bin Mentioned al Aufi, Head of Non-public Workplace of His Majesty the Sultan; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Funding Authority; Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Funding Promotion; Pankaj Kanaksi Gokaldas Khimji, Adviser for Exterior Commerce and Worldwide Cooperation on the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Funding Promotion; and Issa bin Saleh al Shaibani, Ambassador of Oman to India. Dr S Jaishankar, Minister of Exterior Affairs; Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Trade; Ajit Doval, Nationwide Safety Adviser; Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas, Ambassador of India to Oman, and senior officers from the Indian authorities additionally attended the occasion. — ONAttttt t
