KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 (Bernama) — The variety of flood evacuees in reduction centres in Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu dropped this night, whereas in Johor, the scenario stays unchanged.

In PAHANG, there are 12,226 evacuees from 4,052 households at 79 reduction centres as of 4.40 pm in comparison with 13,472 evacuees at 81 centres this morning, with 10,573 individuals in 47 centres in Kuantan, adopted by Pekan (965 individuals in 11 centres), Rompin (353 individuals in eight centres), Maran (161 individuals in 4 centres), Jerantut (145 individuals in 4 centres) and Lipis (5 individuals in a single centre).

In the meantime, Temerloh (22 individuals in three centres) and Bera (two individuals in a single centre) are the newest districts to be hit by floods.

In TERENGGANU, the variety of evacuees dropped to 1,202 individuals from 340 households as of 5 pm in comparison with 1,344 individuals this morning, with 951 individuals from 269 households in 14 centres in Kemaman, and 251 individuals from 71 households in two centres in Dungun.

Two centres in Hulu Terengganu had been closed at midday right now, with all evacuees allowed to return dwelling. 

In KELANTAN, there are 74 evacuees from 22 households at 4 centres in Kuala Krai this night in comparison with 186 individuals this morning, whereas in JOHOR, 356 individuals from 93 households stay in Mersing.
