ATLANTA –  Former Newton County enterprise house owners Julie and Chris Freeman have been formally sued in federal court docket over allegations of “wrongfully diverting” tens of millions of {dollars} to themselves for 2 and a half years.

CPI Administration Group, LLC, a Nevada-based medical firm, claims that Julie Freeman submitted 150 unauthorized funds to herself for $5.1 million from Nov. 2021 to April 2024 whereas working as a contracted chief monetary officer.

Along with the unauthorized funds, the plaintiffs contend that Julie Freeman, by means of LAT29, submitted “unauthorized and deceptive invoices” that totaled over $500,000 greater than what she ought to have invoiced. 

Three different LLCs affiliated with CPI (CNP Administration Group, LLC; Fatherland and Stein Pacific Holdings, LLC and Superior Built-in Medical Options, LLC) have been named as co-plaintiffs. The case was filed with the U.S. Northern District of Georgia on Nov. 24.

In September 2025, allegations regarding Julie Freeman’s dealings with CPI first got here to gentle in a now-dismissed Chapter 11 Chapter case within the U.S. Northern District Courtroom of Georgia. When confronted with an inner investigation, the plaintiffs say that Julie Freeman produced pretend chat logs to a third-party investigator and adjusted payroll service suppliers “with out authorization or discover.” She was terminated on April 11, 2024.

Julie Freeman’s husband, Chris Freeman, is listed as a co-defendant within the case. The plaintiffs declare that Chris Freeman had entry to Julie Freeman’s financial institution accounts and even helped her with a few of her duties.
