A combination of devotion, heritage and expertise was witnessed on the Somnath Temple through the celebration of ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’, held within the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who can be the Chairman of the Shree Somnath Belief. Devotees from throughout Saurashtra gathered in massive numbers to be a part of the historic event on the first Jyotirlinga, Devadhidev Somnath Mahadev. PM Modi Performs Omkar Chanting
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi provided prayers on the Somnath Temple and carried out Omkar chanting, filling the temple premises with non secular resonance. A number of distinguished saints from Saurashtra have been current through the rituals, together with Indrabharti Bapu, President of the Junagadh Sadhu Akhara, Mahamandaleshwar Mahendranath Giri Bapu, and Shernath Bapu, including to the sanctity of the event.
