The inaugural ceremony of the Nationwide Housing Programme 2026 commenced immediately (Jan. 16) in Meesalai, Chavakachcheri, Jaffna, below the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The programme goals to deal with the nation’s long-standing housing wants by establishing 31,218 new homes throughout Sri Lanka inside this 12 months.
The initiative is being applied below the theme “A Place to belong, a Lovely Life.”
