In a serious breakthrough, the Chandigarh Police Crime Department on Wednesday morning arrested two alleged shooters concerned within the latest firing at a chemist store in Sector 32. The arrests adopted a short encounter close to the Sector 39 Grain Market, which left each suspects with bullet accidents within the legs.

The encounter occurred round 6am when a workforce led by the Crime Department acted on a tip-off and intercepted a suspicious automobile. The case took a flip when a viral audio clip, purportedly from Saba Gobindgarh, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, surfaced claiming accountability for the assault and alleging a ₹2-crore extortion demand.

Wednesday’s arrests comply with the sooner apprehension of Rahul Bisht, a personal diagnostic lab proprietor from Sector 46. Bisht is alleged to be the mastermind who supplied logistical help and shared the pharmacy proprietor’s particulars with the shooters on account of a private dispute.

In the meantime, two pistols and the automobile used throughout Wednesday’s encounter have been seized.

In keeping with sources, the police are probing the function of a Chandigarh Police personnel suspected to be a enterprise associate of Bisht. He’s suspected of getting performed a task within the conspiracy.
