Marriyum Aurangzeb reviews Punjab development projects with ADB

Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb met a high-level Asian Growth Financial institution (ADB) delegation to evaluation ongoing and proposed initiatives in well being, training, agriculture, flood administration, local weather resilience, and different sectors.

The minister highlighted Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s imaginative and prescient of clear and digitized growth, introducing the Punjab One Map, a digital platform protecting land, infrastructure, inhabitants, and underground property for higher planning and administration.

She outlined initiatives in training, well being, and concrete security, together with demand-based planning for medical districts, fashionable cath labs, the Protected Metropolis Undertaking in all 36 districts by June, and supply of 160,000 houses. E-mobility initiatives like metro strains, e-buses, and e-bikes are being rolled out in Gujranwala and Faisalabad.

In agriculture, the minister emphasised mechanization, agri-business malls, aquaculture, and distribution of 20,000 spreaders and mulchers to farmers. She additionally detailed efforts in flood administration, irrigation, local weather motion, chilly storage, logistics, and worth addition, together with the area’s first local weather observatory.

The ADB delegation praised Punjab’s reforms, digital governance, and agricultural growth, promising assist for worth addition, exports, and fisheries. Marriyum Aurangzeb invited the delegation to take part within the Basant Pageant.
