Mobile labs to catch drug-impaired drivers in Sri Lanka

The Nationwide Transport Medical Institute (NTMI) has launched a programme utilizing cellular laboratories to establish three-wheeler and heavy car drivers working below the affect of medicine.

NTMI Chairman Professor U.C.P. Perera stated the initiative is anticipated to be totally applied within the coming months.

As a part of the programme, 57 passenger bus drivers have been examined on Bastion Mawatha in Colombo.
