Two Sri Lankan girls have been arrested on the Bandaranaike Worldwide Airport whereas in possession of a consignment of anthurium vegetation price roughly Rs. 1 million, which had been introduced into the nation illegally.
The suspects had arrived from Bangkok, Thailand, and 436 anthurium vegetation have been discovered of their possession.
It has been reported that the vegetation have been introduced into the nation with out the required import allow from the Division of Agriculture.
Accordingly, the 2 girls have been arrested by Sri Lanka Customs officers. The suspects are aged 40 and 45 and are residents of the Colombo and Avissawella areas, in keeping with reviews.
