Two individuals, together with a girl, had been shot lifeless in a grocery store automobile park in Akuregoda this night (February 13).
The victims had been inside a automobile close to the grocery store when unidentified gunmen opened hearth with a T 56 assault rifle, killing them on the spot.
The motive for the assault and the identities of the shooters stay unknown.
Thalangama Police are persevering with investigations into the incident.
