The Indian Navy on Feb 27 commissioned INS Anjadip at Chennai, marking the fourth induction below the Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft challenge. Constructed by Backyard Attain Shipbuilders & Engineers with Larsen & Toubro, the vessel carries over 80% indigenous content material. Designed for shallow waters, it enhances coastal surveillance, submarine detection and maritime commerce safety.
