HM King issues decree 10 of (2026)

Manama, Mar. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (10) of 2026 reorganising the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, based mostly on a proposal by the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and following the approval of the Cupboard.

Article (I)

The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture shall be reorganised as follows:

Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, beneath whom the next shall function:

First: Assistant Undersecretary for Expropriation and Municipal Councils Affairs, overseeing:

      a. Expropriation and Compensation Directorate

      b. Communication and Municipal Councils Affairs Directorate

Second: Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Assets Affairs, overseeing:

      a. Animal Wealth Directorate

      b. Native Animal Manufacturing Directorate

      c. Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs, overseeing:

      1. Native Agricultural Manufacturing Directorate

      2. Vegetation Growth Directorate

Third: Undersecretary for Municipalities Affairs, overseeing:

      a. Info Know-how and Digital Transformation Directorate

      b. Human Assets Directorate

      c. Monetary Assets Directorate

      d. Director-Basic of the Capital Secretariat (Assistant Undersecretary rank)

      e. Director-Basic of the Northern Municipality (Assistant Undersecretary rank)

      f. Director-Basic of the Southern Municipality (Assistant Undersecretary rank)

      g. Director-Basic of Muharraq Municipality (Assistant Undersecretary rank)

      h. Assistant Undersecretary for Tasks, overseeing:

      1. Tasks Directorate

      2. Public Cleanliness Directorate

       i. Assistant Undersecretary for Public Amenities, overseeing:

      1. Afforestation and Parks Directorate

      2. Waterfronts Directorate

Article (II)

Decree (15) of 2023 reorganising the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture is hereby repealed.

Article (III)

The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall take impact from the date of its issuance and shall be printed within the Official Gazette.
