KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) — All Malaysians within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been urged to observe directions issued by native authorities, together with heeding emergency sirens and looking for rapid shelter, as failure to conform might end in authorized motion.

In a posting on its Fb web page, the Malaysian Embassy in Abu Dhabi shared a poster issued by the UAE Inside Ministry titled “What to Do When You Hear a Warning Alert.”

The ministry famous that some members of the general public go away their houses or locations of residence, and even cease their vehicles to document movies when an alert is issued.

“The warning is issued in your security. You should comply by heading to a secure place and taking shelter there till an ‘all clear’ alert is issued for the realm,” it stated.

If you’re in your automotive, proceed to your supposed vacation spot and, upon arrival, proceed to the closest secure place, it added.

The ministry warned that failure to adjust to these directions might end in authorized accountability.

“We ask in your cooperation to make sure your safety,” it stated.

For Malaysians in Saudi Arabia, the Consulate Common of Malaysia in Jeddah could be contacted at +966 126 727 740 (emergencies solely) or by electronic mail at mwjeddah@kln.gov.my.  

The Ministry of International Affairs Operations Room in Putrajaya additionally operates 24 hours and could be contacted at +603 8887 4570 or by electronic mail at dutyofficer@kln.gov.my.
